Create Your Cal.com Account

First, you need to sign up for a free Cal.com account to manage your appointments.

Go to cal.com/signup
Enter your email address and create a password
Complete the onboarding process (name, username, bio)
Verify your email address

💡 Tip: Choose a professional username like "yourname-business" as this will be part of your booking URL.

Connect Your Calendar

Connect your Google Calendar, Outlook, or Apple Calendar to prevent double bookings and sync appointments.

From your Cal.com dashboard, click on "Calendars" in the sidebar
Click "Connect" next to Google Calendar (recommended)
Log in with your Google account and grant permissions
Select which calendar you want to sync with Cal.com

⚠️ Important: Make sure to connect the calendar you actually use for appointments. This ensures AutoBooker AI can check your availability in real-time.

Generate Your API Key

The API key allows AutoBooker AI to create appointments on your behalf securely.

Click on your profile picture in the top-right corner
Select "Settings" from the dropdown menu
In the left sidebar, click on "Developer" → "API Keys"
Click "Create New API Key"
Give it a name like "AutoBooker AI"
Click "Create" and copy the API key

                    Example API Key:

                    cal_live_423e26c3ccbf630bddc29c2398eca76c

🔒 Security: Store this API key securely. Never share it publicly. You can always regenerate it if needed.

Find Your Event Type ID

The Event Type ID tells AutoBooker AI which type of appointment to create (15 min, 30 min, etc.).

Go to "Event Types" in the Cal.com sidebar
You'll see your default event types (15 min, 30 min meetings)
Click on the event type you want to use for customer appointments
Look at the URL in your browser's address bar
The Event Type ID is the number at the end of the URL

                    URL Example:

                    app.cal.com/event-types/4568970

                    Event Type ID: 4568970

Send Your Details to Us

Once you have both your API Key and Event Type ID, send them to us so we can configure your AutoBooker AI.

We'll configure everything within 24 hours
